Senior Social Worker – Mental Health Drug & Alcohol – Orange
This is a permanent part-time position for a Senior Social Worker Level 3 working in the Older Person's Acute Team based at the Bloomfield Campus of Orange Health Service.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with medical, nursing and allied health clinicians in the unit.
* Provide support, guidance and supervision to junior Social Work team members.
* Complete comprehensive psychosocial assessments in a timely manner.
* Support patients undergoing a wide range of medical interventions and treatments within the healthcare system.
* Maintain broad knowledge of external service providers such as My Aged Care, NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal and the NDIS.
* Participate in regular supervision and engage in quality improvement projects.
* Support professional development opportunities.
