We are seeking a proactive and experienced Manager, Platform Services to lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of our platform administration functions. This pivotal role involves managing a team of Platform Services Administrators and ensuring the accurate, timely processing of superannuation, investment, and income transactions.
As a key leader in the business, you will liaise with internal and external stakeholders, contribute to ongoing platform projects, and ensure service levels are consistently met or exceeded. This role requires a strong operational mindset, deep financial services knowledge, and a passion for developing people and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead the Platform Services team, ensuring daily tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Oversee the administration of superannuation and investment transactions, including applications, rollovers, switches, and income streams.
- Perform quality checks on processed transactions and ensure adherence to SLAs and regulatory requirements.
- Update and reconcile client portfolios, resolving any discrepancies promptly.
- Handle escalated client and adviser queries with professionalism and efficiency.
- Collaborate with advisers, brokers, custodians, and fund managers to support smooth transaction processing.
- Contribute to ongoing systems testing and operational projects to improve platform service delivery.
- Train new platform users and provide onboarding support.
- Prepare responses for custodians, auditors, and internal reporting as required.
- Recruit, develop, and retain talent to support team performance and stability.
To Be Successful, You Will Have:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar management role within the Financial Services industry.
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong people leadership skills with experience developing and motivating operational teams.
- Proven track record in accurate, timely transaction processing.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
- A solution-focused approach with the ability to resolve complex administrative issues.
