Permanent Placement - Emergency Department - Registered Nurse
Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Launceston General Hospital in the Emergency Department as a Registered Nurse. The department provides urgent and life-saving care to the community, working closely with other departments and community health services.
The Role
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses who possess excellent clinical skills, a passion for delivering high-quality patient care, and a commitment to professional development. The successful candidates will work collaboratively with our emergency physicians, paramedics, and support staff to provide rapid response and timely escalation of critical patients.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures
* Collaborate with the emergency physician to assess, stabilise and treat patients with acute conditions
* Contribute to a safe and efficient working environment through effective communication and teamwork
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in the Emergency Department
* AHPRA registration
