Senior Business Analyst Job
Cathara Consulting is a leading consulting firm specialising in business transformations and technology services. We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support a high-risk ICT project.
The Role
* As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for a full range of business analysis tasks, including requirements planning and management, requirements elicitation, analysis and documentation, and capturing existing business processes and proposed changes.
* You will work with the business, project team members, and vendors to ensure successful project execution.
Responsibilities
1. Facilitate workshops, interviews, and focus groups with stakeholders to elicit, analyse and document business and functional requirements.
2. Conduct walkthroughs to validate and obtain approval of business analysis outputs.
3. Provide business analysis support throughout the project development or implementation lifecycle.
4. Undertake and support testing activities, including preparing and executing test plans and cases.
5. Apply business analysis techniques and tools to document requirements, objectives, outcomes, processes, procedures, work instructions and workflows.
6. Deliver project documentation in alignment with client project management frameworks.
7. Manage sensitive information and maintain records in line with information management policies.
Requirements
* A minimum of 6 months' experience as a Senior Business Analyst.
* Strong analytical and organisational skills, with good attention to detail.
* High level of analytical skills, with ability to think laterally and conceptually.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience working in a collaborative environment with high performing teams.
* Experience in end-to-end delivery of major business systems projects.
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Visio and office tools such as Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook.
Desirable Skills and Experience
* Experience in business process model and notation (BPMN) 2.0 standard.
* Experience working in a Government environment.
