The position:
We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, highly motivated Service Technician based out of our Blackwater Region. Mechanically minded is preferred and our Training Department will train you in the rest
At the completion of formal training and with continued on-the-job training, the role will be servicing customers throughout the Mining Industry. Working an even-time roster from our Blackwater Branch and local mine sites, your responsibilities and duties will include:
* Safety by looking after yourself and others to maintain our very high standard of WHS and supporting our value that "safety is, and always will be our first priority".
* Quality Work by conducting a high level of servicing and maintenance on mobile equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
* Curiosity by performing diagnostic tests to identify the root cause of equipment malfunctions or system failures.
* Collaborating with team members to complete repairs and installations, continuously learn from each other, and help to make our FSI own systems even better.
* Knowledge sharing by providing technical assistance and guidance to clients and end users on our systems.
* Strong Relationships with our clients and attending to client call outs to ensure we assist them keep their assets safe and working
About You:
* Must be committed to safety.
* A mechanical trade, service maintenance, air-conditioning experience, or similar industry related skills preferred however not essential.
* Strong troubleshooting and diagnostics ability and a sense of wanting to continuously improve.
* Agile, energetic with a can-do attitude and enjoy working in outdoor environments.
* Comfortable to be able to work alone or within a team as needed.
* Great communicator – you can talk a lot or a little as long as you can get your point across clearly, can connect with clients and your team in a genuine way, and still get the work done.
* Hold a valid and current driver's licence.
