Test & Tag Technician – Casual to Full-Time
Monday to Friday | Adelaide & Regional SA
We're a small, locally owned (non-franchise) electrical test & tag business looking for an experienced technician to join our team.
This role starts casual (20–38 hrs/week) with the opportunity to move to full-time (38 hrs/week) at above-award pay rates.
Monday to Friday only
No weekends or after-hours
Varied sites — no two days the same
About the Work
You'll be testing and tagging equipment across:
* Farms and rural sites
* Engineering workshops and industrial facilities
* Warehouses
* Offices, retail shops and small businesses
Most work is in the Adelaide metro, with regular trips to regional areas including Mount Gambier, the Riverland and Whyalla.
Some jobs require overnight stays (1–4 nights) — all travel is paid.
What We're Looking For
* Is experienced in electrical testing and tagging (AS/NZS 3760) and has completed a recognised electrical test & tag training course (e.g. UEERL0003) through a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), or equivalent
* Good computer literacy (comfortable using tablets, phones and basic software)
* Comfortable working independently and with a small team
* Friendly, professional communication with customers
* Good attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions
* Reliable, well organised, well presented, and takes pride in their work
Requirements
* Completion of a recognised electrical test & tag training course (e.g. UEERL0003) through a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) or equivalent
* Driver's licence and reliable vehicle (initially)
* Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
* Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
* Willingness to travel when required
