SEAWAY is seeking a full-time Rail & Road Manager to oversee all rail and road transport operations. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage a team of Reach Stacker Drivers, Rail Operations, Drivers & Planners.
About the Role
* Lead daily freight organisation
* Maintain order flow of products
* Manage procurement, tracking and delivery of goods
This role will provide a dynamic opportunity for a transport professional to apply their skills in problem-solving, forecasting, planning and staff management.
Responsibilities
* Day-to-day leadership of the rail and road division
* Analyse logistical problems and produce new solutions
* Allocate and manage staff resources
* Plan and forecast workloads
You will work closely with other managers to ensure compliance requirements are met across all stages of operations.
What We Are Looking For
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in the Transport & Rail Industry
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in a leadership role
* Demonstrated experience in forecasting, planning and problem solving
The successful candidate will have above-average computer literacy, a current Driver's Licence, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
