The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Plant Fitter to join our Surface Maintenance team at our Pajingo operations.
This is a great opportunity to work on a 7/7 day and night rotating roster, offering excellent work-life balance.
As a Plant Fitter, you'll be responsible for scheduled maintenance, repairs, and installations across our fixed plant and associated infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain fixed plant and ancillary equipment (crushers, mills, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, tanks, agitators, etc).
* Conduct preventative maintenance and attend to breakdowns.
* Complete documentation and reports to a high standard.
* Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational procedures.
* Communicate effectively with supervisors, trades, and production teams.
* Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace safety.
About You
* Experience in fixed plant maintenance within the mining or gold processing industry.
* Strong safety mindset with a proactive approach.
* Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Willingness to adhere to site procedures and values.
* G1, G8, G9 certifications.
* Exposure to root cause analysis and improvement processes.
