* Starting salary: $74,838.40 + allowances (conditions apply).

About the Position
Are you community-minded, creative, and passionate about bringing people together? We are seeking an enthusiastic Community Development Officer to join our team in Tom Price.
In this hands-on role, you'll help deliver the programs, events, and initiatives that make Tom Price a vibrant and connected community. From planning and delivering Shire events to working alongside local groups and residents, your work will directly support community wellbeing.
You'll enjoy this role if you like coordinating activities, engaging with stakeholders, adapting to community needs, and working both independently and as part of a supportive team. Your day may include event coordination, program delivery, community outreach, report writing, and assisting your Coordinator with operational priorities.
We're seeking a local resident who is enthusiastic about working with people from diverse backgrounds and keen to contribute to their community. Flexibility is essential, as the role may involve after-hours, weekend, and public holiday work. While previous experience is valued, we welcome applicants with the right attitude, creativity, and willingness to learn. Please note that Shire housing is not provided for this position.
