Job Description
We are seeking a Primary Care Physician to join our team in Richmond North, New South Wales, Australia. This part-time position involves delivering primary medical care to Australian Defence Force personnel.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality primary medical care to patients in accordance with professional standards and legislation.
* Be part of a multidisciplinary team supporting the health and wellbeing of Defence members.
* Assess Defence personnel for fitness for duty and provide care that supports health and wellbeing pre- and post-deployment.
* Provide medical technical advice to the Joint Health Unit (JHU) CO, Joint Health Command Health Centre Manager, and unit Commanders.
* Collaborate with Senior Medical Officers and uniformed colleagues to provide comprehensive care.
* Work in outpatient or inpatient settings as required.
Requirements
* Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Medical Practitioner, General in Australia with AHPRA.
* Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) OR Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM) OR Vocational Registration.
* Minimum of 2 years full-time post-graduate general practitioner experience in a general practice setting within the last 5 years (or part-time equivalent).
* Recent CPD activities in accordance with AHPRA.
* Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification.
