We're seeking an experienced Senior Botanist to play a key role in delivering complex botany projects and supporting the ongoing development of our team. This position offers the opportunity to combine technical leadership, project delivery and mentoring, while contributing to the strategic direction of the business.

What You'll Be Doing
* Leading and managing botany projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope and budget
* Designing and undertaking flora and vegetation surveys, including complex and remote field programs
* Producing and reviewing high‐quality technical reports, ensuring scientific rigour and regulatory compliance
* Providing technical guidance and mentoring to botanists and junior staff
* Contributing to research, monitoring programs and specialist assessments
* Ensuring all fieldwork and specimen collection complies with licensing, and legislation
* Supporting the development and implementation of business unit and company‐wide strategic objectives
About You
* A tertiary qualification in Botany, Conservation Biology, Environmental Science or a related discipline
* 5+ years' experience in a professional botany or environmental consulting role
* Strong demonstrated experience leading botanical field surveys
* Proven ability to deliver high‐quality scientific and technical reports
* In‐depth knowledge of the flora of Western Australia
* Strong understanding of State and Commonwealth environmental legislation and regulatory frameworks
* Experience supporting project management, including scheduling and budgets
* A current Class C driver's license (essential); 4WD experience highly regarded
