The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Design and Technology teacher committed to supporting the growth of every student.
You will engage with the school community, reflect on your teaching, and use evidence-based approaches to meet diverse student needs.
In this role, you may be expected to deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a diverse student cohort, working across areas such as woodwork, metalwork, and engineering.
The position may involve fostering an inclusive environment that supports students in reaching their full potential, using evidence-based teaching and differentiation strategies to enhance learning outcomes.

About the School
Narrogin SHS is a genuine comprehensive educational institution on a whole-school improvement journey encompassing Fogarty EDvance, National School Improvement and Teaching for Impact.

Temporary Attraction and Retention Incentive of $2,000

Teachers and school administrators employed at Narrogin Senior High School in **** are eligible to receive a temporary Attraction and Retention Incentive of $2,000 (pa, gross – to be adjusted pro-rata for FTE and tenure).
Eligible staff will receive a percentage of this payment on commencement at the school, with the remainder paid at the end of the school year.
Staff must remain employed in the location until the end of the school year to be eligible to receive the second payment.
The temporary ARI payment is in addition to other incentives that may apply in this school.

Mobility appointments for permanent metropolitan and south west teachers
Eligible permanent teachers who hold a substantive teaching position in a North or South Education Region school, or a South West Education Region school* may elect to undertake this role as a 3-year mobility appointment, with a right of return to their substantive position.
At the cessation of the 3-year mobility appointment, teachers can elect to return to their substantive role, or transfer permanently into this school.

Eligibility
Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.

Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
