Workfast is seeking a Road Labourer to join our client in Albany, WA.
This role supports a key transport agency responsible for maintaining and improving Western Australia's road network.

What You Get
* $48.00 per hour + penalties
* Monday - Friday, generally 6:30am start (9.5-hour days)

What You Need
* MR, HR, HC or MC Driver's License Required
* White Card
* Basic Worksite Traffic Management / Traffic Control (BWTM/TC)
* Current First Aid and CPR certification
* Chainsaw ticket - desirable but not essential
* Must be able to pass drug and alcohol screening
* Physical fitness - capable of performing manual outdoor labour in varying weather conditions
* Must live in or near Albany, WA (no FIFO/DIDO or accommodation provided)
* Availability over holiday period - must be available to work through the Christmas/New Year period and assist with occasional after-hours callouts
* Note: The client will not roster shifts on public holidays or weekends, though ad hoc callouts may occur
What You'll Be Doing
* Performing manual road maintenance and repairs including patching, crack sealing, and surface restoration
* Clearing vegetation, fallen trees, and debris from road reserves and verges
* Conducting routine litter and debris removal from rest areas and roadways
* Installing and maintaining guideposts and signage in line with MRWA standards
* Supporting safe and efficient operations within a small local road crew
