We have exciting opportunities for a Hotel Duty Manager to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences across both The Ville Resort-Casino and Ardo Hotel.
THE ROLE As the Hotel Duty Manager, you will contribute to the day-to-day operation and administration of the Hotel Department, including supervising the Front Office team.
You will liaise with customers who request managerial attention ensuring a positive experience, assist in the preparation of Front Office forecasts, reporting, rostering and time sheets and ensure that you remain abreast of all current promotions, activities and events within the Hotel and Casino.
About You
* Previous experience in the hotel management/service industry at a managerial level and an understanding of Hotel Front Office operations;
* Open Qld Drivers Licence is preferred;
* Tertiary qualification in a Hospitality/Business-related discipline preferred;
* Experience in leading professional hospitality/hotel teams within large corporate organisations, or site property;
* Understanding of all hotel operations;
* Demonstrated ability in developing productive relationships and managing and driving change;
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
* Understanding of relevant legislation and regulations;
* Experience with a property management system, in particular Opera Cloud is highly desirable;
* Extremely high attention to detail;
* Time management skills with the ability to multitask and;
* Ability to work a rotating roster including nights, weekends and public holidays.
