We are seeking a Flashing & Technical Drawing Specialist to join our team at our Sheetmetal Manufacturing facility in Northgate. This role involves working in an office environment - you will be drawing flashing / sheetmetal templates on a computer in addition to scheduling their manufacture Position : Full-time, Monday to Friday 9am to 5:15pm (38 hours) Key Responsibilities Create accurate technical drawings and flashing profiles using SWI software. Interpret architectural drawings and flashing diagrams and translate them into manufacturable sheetmetal components Collaborate with estimators, production staff, and clients to ensure the final product meets specifications Maintain organized files and revisions for fast-paced job turnaround Keep track of production schedules, completed orders, and any issues or discrepancies during production process Work closely with other team members and supervisors, to ensure smooth workflow and meet production deadlines Communicate with customers regarding their orders and technical needs Required Skills & Experience Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic Experience in sheetmetal or construction-related drafting preferred Strong attention to detail and understanding of manufacturing processes Ability to work independently and manage multiple jobs with tight deadlines Basic skill in trigonometry If you're an experienced flashings & technical drawing specialist looking to take your career to the next leveling in a rewarding, real-world environment, we want to hear from you!
