FIFO CHEFS NEEDED
About the role
We have exciting FIFO Chef opportunities for casual and ongoing work throughout regional WA.
The most common swings are 2:1 or 7:1 and there is a variety of work available across different mine sites.
The FIFO lifestyle can be very rewarding, but it isn't for everyone. Consider what to expect and required of you when assessing your options.
Your tasks will include and not limited to
* Follow organization policies and practices at all times
* Experience in bulk cooking.
* Follow food safety guidelines
* Ensure food temperature documentation is accurate
* Complete incident report forms when required
* Able to work autonomously and in a team
* Any other tasks assigned by the client from time to time
About you
The ideal candidate will have:
* FIFO/Remote experience (Essential)
* Australian Trade Certificate/Cert III in Commercial Cookery (Essential)
* National Police Clearance – must be within 6 months (Essential)
* Valid Australian Manual Driver's Licence (Desirable)
* FIFO from Perth, WA
* Understanding of HACCP and Food Safety Plans
* Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug Screen ( Essential)
* Understanding requirements of safe work and safety protocols
* Must be able to work 12 hour shifts and Day or Night shifts as required
* Ability to endure remote environment in extreme heat or weather conditions
