We are seeking a passionate Restaurant Manager to lead our team and continue our legacy of quality.
Job Responsibilities:
• Manage daily operations to ensure a seamless flow, from the morning coffee rush to closing, maintaining our high standards of presentation and ambiance.
• Recruit, train, and mentor staff. Foster a positive, inclusive work environment where every team member feels empowered to deliver their best service.
• Be the face of Kiitos Cafe. Handle reservations and build relationships with our regular guests, ensuring every customer leaves with a smile. professionally handle feedback to constantly improve our service.
• Collaborate with the Head Chef to curate seasonal menus that reflect local tastes. Ensure food quality and presentation consistently meet our brand's reputation.
• Oversee the budget, labour costs, and inventory. Drive revenue through creative strategies, such as optimizing weekend brunch turnover or planning community events.
• Negotiate with suppliers to source high-quality, fresh ingredients at competitive prices, ensuring our supply chain supports our menu goals.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure the restaurant strictly adheres to all health, hygiene, and safety regulations.
• Develop strategies to attract new customers. Utilize social media and community engagement to enhance Kiitos Cafe's visibility and reputation in Canberra.
Position Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in a high-volume cafe or restaurant environment.
• Diploma or higher qualification in Hospitality Management or a related field.
• A genuine passion for food, coffee, and people.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.
