Job Summary
Trade Counter Assistant / Delivery Driver (Civil) – Queanbeyan, NSW. Full‑time role within the Trade Counter team, assisting engineers, project managers and other tradespeople with product access and supporting the branch's daily operations.
Responsibilities
* Provide customer service and product information both in person and over the phone.
* Prepare and issue quotes for customers.
* Carry out picking, packing and stock control activities.
* Maintain branch cleanliness, safety and display standards.
* Make deliveries to customers using a company vehicle, including an MR truck (licence upskilling support available).
Qualifications & Expectations
* Previous experience in retail sales or customer service.
* Adept at picking orders, maintaining shop‑floor displays and ensuring accurate information.
* Comfortable using a computer and willing to learn new systems.
* Clean, valid driver's licence; MR licence or aspiration to upskill to a Medium Rigid licence acceptable.
* Desire to develop a career locally, within the network or at head office.
