Position Summary
Join Victoria's Youth Justice Precinct at Malmsbury. Support the delivery of Infrastructure Systems, including Security and fire risk management systems for the department's property portfolio, as well as ensuring security processes and protocols are supported and adhered to for all staff, contractors, young people and visitors.

Responsibilities
* Support the delivery of Infrastructure Systems, including Security and fire risk management systems for the department's property portfolio.
* Ensure security processes and protocols are supported and adhered to for all staff, contractors, young people and visitors.
* Support internal quality controls to ensure fire risk management, security systems, and related processes comply with departmental standards and legislative requirements.
* Coordinate electronic access control, including issuing access cards and assisting with lost, damaged, or misplaced cards.
* Assist in the delivery, monitoring, and support of projects, ensuring all work aligns with relevant legislation, government regulations, and departmental guidelines.
* Provide clear advice and support to stakeholders on processes, policies, procedures, and broader security and safety functions as needed.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will have:
* Knowledge and understanding of Fire Risk Management Guidelines, building regulations and experience in fire detection and suppression systems.
* In depth knowledge and understanding of security systems, including but not limited to Access control, CCTV, Mobile duress and Radio communications.
* Program management experience, including co‐ordination of contractors engaged in complex fire risk management auditing, reporting or rectification works.
* A current driver's licence is required due to the need to work across different locations.
* A Working with Children Check (WWCC) to be obtained and maintained for the period of employment.
