Disability Support Worker – Ipswich QLD (1:1 Support)
Arch Disability Pty Ltd is a rapidly growing NDIS provider committed to delivering first-class, person-centred care. Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking experienced and compassionate Disability Support Workers to provide 1:1 in-home support to an NDIS participant located in Ipswich QLD.
About the Role
You will be supporting a male participant in his home and community, assisting with:
* Personal care
* Meal preparation and basic cooking
* Household tasks
* Community access and social participation
* Transport to day programs and medical appointments
This role is ideal for someone who is patient, empathetic, reliable, and passionate about supporting independence and quality of life.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Certificate III in Disability Support, Mental Health, or Aged Care
* Minimum 6 months’ experience supporting people with disabilities
* Experience supporting individuals with Parkinson’s disease (essential)
* Experience in SIL/STA environments (highly regarded)
* NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
* Blue Card / Working with Children Check
* Current First Aid & CPR
* Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module and Infection Control Training
* COVID-19 vaccination
* Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
* Pet friendly and tech-savvy
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to provide 2–3 professional references
