About the Role
As we continue to expand we are seeking a Financial Controller to join our leadership team and drive financial strategy, compliance and performance across the business.
Based at our Southport Head Office, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of the business, ensuring sound financial management, reporting practices and supporting strategic decision making.
Reporting to the COO, you will work closely with other senior leaders to support growth, enhance profitability and ensure compliance across all operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and reporting.
Oversee monthly and annual financial reporting statutory compliance and audits.
Lead and mentor finance team members, promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Provide financial analysis and insights to support executive decision making.
Implement and maintain robust financial controls and risk management processes.
Liaise with external accountants, auditors and regulatory bodies.
Manage finance facilities and bank covenants.
Required Skills & Experience:
CPA / CA qualified with a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
Strong knowlege of Australian financial regulations, tax and compliance.
Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
High level of accuracy, attention to detail and integrity.
Advanced proficiency in accounting software (Xero preferred) and Office.
Experience in car rental, fleet, transport or automotive industries will be highly regarded.
Must hold a valid Drivers Licence.
