Accounts Payable Officer
We are seeking a detail-driven Accounts Payable Officer to join a agile team. This role offers variety, working across accounts payable, administration and support to project teams within the construction sector. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations while providing valuable support to wider business operations.
What you’ll be doing
Processing and coding invoices, credit notes, and payments
Completing supplier and subcontractor statement reconciliations
Managing credit card reconciliations and expense claims
Maintaining supplier registers and credit agreements
Supporting finance and project teams with general administration tasks
Assisting with accounts receivable and cash control when required
What we’re looking for
Previous Accounts Payable experience, ideally within the construction industry
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Experience with Jobpac (highly regarded, but not essential)
A proactive team player who is eager to learn and grow with the business
