Job Description for Principal Consultant at IPAR
We are seeking a talented and experienced Principal Consultant to join our team in Launceston. This is a permanent full-time opportunity that will involve managing a diverse caseload of workplace rehabilitation cases.
You will have the autonomy to manage your own day, with the support of a close-knit team of healthcare professionals and access to resources from a global corporate infrastructure.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio of workplace rehabilitation cases, providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions;
* Develop and implement return-to-work plans, progressing upgrades in consultation with key stakeholders;
* Mentor and coach consultants to achieve service delivery, customer service, and billable minimum thresholds;
* Assist with consultant induction and performance management processes;
* Develop customer relationships and work with employers and employees on injury prevention programs;
* Collaborate across various schemes, including workers compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veteran's Affairs, and employer-funded injury prevention programs;
Qualifications and Requirements
* Tertiary qualification in an Allied Health Discipline;
* Full Professional Registration or Accreditation (AASW, ASORC, AHPRA, or ESSA);
* Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation is highly regarded;
* Fabulous communication skills, compassion, kindness, empathy, and well-developed time management skills;
* A current valid Driver's License and access to a car with comprehensive insurance.
