The Role:

Genus are seeking an experienced Recruitment Officer to join the recruitment team on a full-time permanent basis to support our Partum and CommTel businesses with their recruitment needs.

Reporting to the Recruitment Program Lead, the Recruitment Officer'sresponsibilities will include:

* Liaising with hiring managers to understand project and role requirements.
* Writing and posting job advertisements on Job Adder and other job boards.
* Sourcing candidates using various platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, SEEK Talent Search, internal databases, referrals).
* Screening applications and conducting initial phone screens
* Coordinating interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
* Creating and managing candidate shortlists.
* Maintaining accurate recruitment records within Job Adder (ATS)
* Building talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
* Engaging in employer branding activities to attract top talent.
* Providing regular updates to internal stakeholders on recruitment progress and challenges.

Essential Skills/Qualifications/Experience:

* Minimum 3+ years' experience in a role with high volume recruitment.
* Previous experience in recruitment of white-collar roles, preferably within the engineering and telecommunications industry.
* Demonstrated experience managing a candidate database and use of recruitment software, such as JobAdder.
* High level of internet and PC proficiency, including use of Microsoft Office Suite and Recruitment Software/s.
* Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications.
* Ability to work autonomously and unsupervised as required.
* Ability to effectively prioritise and manage competing priorities, with a strong adherence to deadlines.
