They are seeking an experienced Operations Team Leader to oversee the operations of their training facilities in South Melbourne and East Melbourne.
This role is about keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes of this Registered Training Organisation (RTO) while leading a small team to deliver seamless, positive experiences for students, clients, and trainers. You’ll be the go-to person for logistics, scheduling, resources, and team support, ensuring programs are delivered on time, to standard, and with a professional yet welcoming feel.
What you’ll be doing
- Oversee and coordinate day-to-day training operations and logistics
- Lead and support a small team, encouraging collaboration and professional growth
- Plan and manage training logistics: scheduling courses, ensuring resources and venues are ready to go
- Be the main point of contact for clients, trainers, participants and internal teams
- Maintain accurate CRM and VETtrak records
- Contribute to process improvements and ensure compliance with VET standards
- Manage reporting, analytics, performance, and admin requirements
What we’re looking for
- Experience in operations, admin, or training coordination and team leadership experience
- Certificate IV in Business Administration (TAE desirable but not needed to apply)
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and a customer-first approach
- Confident with Student Management Systems (VETtrak experience highly valued)
- Knowledge of VET system and regulatory requirements
- Problem-solver who thrives under pressure
- Supportive and approachable leadership style

- Salary: $85,000 – 90,000 + super
