The Bays Aged Care is a 90-bed facility where we pride ourselves on creating a friendly, caring environment in which residents feel safe and supported. At the heart of our offering is a deep commitment to a resident-first approach.
We are seeking an experienced Night Duty Registered Nurse for a permanent part time opportunity working Tuesday and Wednesday nights (18.5 hours per fortnight). The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in an in charge role on night duty within aged care.
What you will do?
As a Registered Nurse you will be responsible for:
* Holistic assessments in partnership with residents and their representatives
* Development and evaluation of individualised resident care plans
* Supervise and support Personal Care Workers
* Clinical care including wound management, palliative care and medication management
* Liaison with medical and allied health care staff
* Positive resident experience through resident-centred approach
* You must be dedicated to working within the applicable quality standards, including the Aged Care Quality Standards and NDIS Practice Standards
Who are you and what will you bring?
* Registration with the AHPRA as a registered nurse is essential
* Minimum 2 years experience in providing clinical care
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Hold NDIS Worker Checks (or willing to obtain)
* Be passionate about delivering a person-centred approach to care
