The Opportunity
We are currently seeking experienced and motivated Operator/ Maintainers and Leading Hands to join our team to support the ongoing operations of our client's copper and gold mine in Papua New Guinea.
With two newly commissioned mills on site, these are hands-on, site-based roles ideal for individuals who enjoy working in dynamic environments and contributing directly to safe and efficient plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Safe and efficient operation of milling circuits and associated fixed plant equipment
* Routine inspections, monitoring, and adjustments to maintain plant performance
* Performing mechanical maintenance and basic troubleshooting on mill components
* Identifying and reporting faults or potential issues before they impact production
* Working collaboratively with other departments (electrical, processing, safety) to support production goals
* Mentoring and developing local team members
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in fixed plant operations and/or mechanical maintenance within a mineral processing environment
* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to plant reliability
* Commitment to safe work practices and team-based performance
* Willingness to work in a remote location on a site-based roster
* Previous overseas or expat experience (highly regarded but not essential)
