Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and present varied, nourishing, and appetising meals tailored to residents' dietary needs and preferences
* Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant kitchen environment
* Collaborate with catering staff, residents, and care teams to enhance mealtime experiences
* Lead and support kitchen staff, fostering a positive and high-performance culture
* Oversee menu planning, stock control, and budgeting
* Continually evaluate and improve catering services for cost-effectiveness and resident satisfaction
Key Requirements / Skills
* Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent trade qualification)
* Proven experience in a commercial kitchen, ideally within aged care or large-scale catering
* Strong leadership, teamwork, and mentoring skills
* Knowledge of safe food handling practices and compliance
* Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
* Queensland Driver's Licence (Manual Required)
