Front Office Supervisor Opportunity
Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa, located on the world-famous Cable Beach in Broome, Western Australia, is looking for an experienced Front Office Supervisor to join our team. The resort offers a relaxed lifestyle with easy access to major cities and all the conveniences of shops, restaurants, cinemas, hospital, and schools.
The property boasts 225 rooms of varying styles, 4 restaurants, poolside bars, a tour desk, resort shop, and a full-service Day Spa and Hair Salon. Our award-winning resort is seeking a suitably experienced professional to assist in the daily management of staff and resources across the Front Office department.
Main Responsibilities:
* Ensure service standards of all Front Office staff are professional, helpful, and align with the resort's vision and goals at all times.
* Maximize room inventory management and sales.
* Coordinate and supervise guest arrivals and departures.
* In conjunction with the Front Office Manager, provide training and mentoring of department staff.
* Deal with guest complaints and issues, ensuring prompt resolution.
* Perform Night Audit duties when required.
* Manage the department in the absence of the Front Office Manager.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Front Office supervisory experience in a 4 or 5-star hotel or resort.
* Excellent organizational, time management, and computer literacy skills.
* Ability to deal with guest issues in a timely, positive, and professional manner.
* Strong attention to detail, interpersonal, and communication skills.
* A high standard of personal presentation.
* Current manual driver's license.
* Willingness to work 24-hour rotational shifts as required.
* Experience using Opera PMS (preferable).
