About the Role
As the Art Gallery Director, you will be responsible for managing a multidisciplinary team, overseeing daily operations, and developing an ambitious vision for the gallery. This role requires extensive experience in the public gallery sector or a related field, with a strong understanding of contemporary visual arts and culture.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team. You will also need to have highly developed skills in strategic planning, communication, financial management, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and lead a multidisciplinary team to achieve strategic goals and objectives
* Develop and implement innovative programs and exhibitions to engage audiences and promote the gallery's mission
* Oversee daily operations, including budget management and resource allocation
* Foster partnerships with local artists, communities, and stakeholders to enhance the gallery's reputation and reach
