We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced culinary professional to join our team in the preparation of delicious and nutritious meals for young children with varying dietary needs.
As a key member of our food services team, you will be responsible for creating balanced meals suitable for young children considering their developmental needs. This will involve designing rotating menus that adhere to dietary guidelines and cater to diverse requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
 * Create menus that meet the nutritional needs of young children and adhere to dietary guidelines.
 * Prepare meals that cater to diverse requirements such as gluten-free, dairy-free, halal, and other special dietary needs.
 * Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene protocols in meal preparation.
 * Work efficiently in meal preparation according to service schedules.
Requirements:
 * Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent culinary qualifications/experience.
 * Current and valid Working with Children Check or ability to obtain one.
 * Previous experience in a chef/cook or similar role, particularly in an early childhood setting.
 * Understanding of specific nutritional requirements and common allergies/intolerances in young children.
