Hankook Tyre Australia is seeking a highly motivated
State Sales Manager – Western Australia
to lead our sales operations in the state. This role reports directly to the Sales Director.
About the role
As State Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading the WA sales team, driving sales growth, and developing strong relationships with both national and independent customers. You will execute strategic sales initiatives, coach and mentor your team, and play a key role in shaping the market presence of Hankook Tyre in Western Australia.
Key Responsibilities
Execute the Hankook national sales plan to achieve revenue and growth targets in Western Australia.
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Business Development Executives to maximise individual and team performance.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including independent retailers and local contacts of national clients.
Implement sales promotions and campaigns to drive results across all sales channels.
Identify and develop new sales opportunities, including new national channels and local independent retailers.
Provide market intelligence, reporting on trends, competitor activity, and pricing to the Sales Director.
Collaborate with other department managers to ensure aligned business strategies and operational excellence.
Develop and execute customer and channel action plans to increase sales, market share, and brand presence.
Maintain accurate sales activity reports and CRM updates to support national strategies and integrated customer experience.
About you
To succeed in this role, you will have:
Minimum five years' experience in a sales management or senior sales role, ideally in the tyre or automotive industry.
Proven track record of leading and motivating teams to achieve sales targets.
Strong commercial acumen and a structured approach to managing territories, customers, and teams.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to travel within Western Australia as required.
