Distributor Operations Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage daily PM operations, ensuring on-time delivery through effective labour resourcing and fleet allocation.
2. Evaluate and improve warehouse efficiency using continuous improvement tools and methodologies.
3. Identify root causes of issues, implement proactive action plans, and ensure compliance with established policies.
4. Implement new technologies, processes, and policies to enhance overall warehouse efficiency while maintaining a safe working environment.
5. Build strong relationships with other departments to maintain effective communication channels across all business units.
Requirements:
* Leadership Skills: A strong leader who can foster a high-performing culture and influence key stakeholders.
* Continuous Improvement: Experience using continuous improvement tools to drive process efficiency and accuracy.
* Operational Excellence: Knowledge of business planning systems for inventory management.
* Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships.
* Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to identifying and solving issues.
* Relevant Experience:
o Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word, and WMS.
o Experience in supply chain scheduling, analysis, and data interpretation.
o Understanding of OH&S legislation and responsibilities.
o Proven track record in managing teams and developing people through training.
o High level of business awareness and understanding of inter-relationships between functions.
