Our client, a well-regarded commercial builder with a strong pipeline of work across Victoria, is seeking an up-and-coming Site Manager to deliver a $6m childcare centre project in Geelong. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven leading hand / junior site manager ready to step up and take ownership of a full project, with support from an experienced project team.
The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination and successful delivery of the project on site. You will play a key role in ensuring the build is completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and coordinate all on-site activities and trades
* Drive construction program and ensure milestones are met
* Maintain a strong focus on site safety and compliance
* Monitor quality assurance and ensure high build standards
* Liaise with subcontractors, consultants, and key stakeholders
* Report on progress, issues, and site performance
About You
* Previous experience as a Site Supervisor or emerging Site Manager in commercial construction
* Exposure to projects in the $2m–$10m range (education/childcare highly regarded)
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple trades and site activities effectively
* A proactive and hands‐on approach with a willingness to learn and grow
