Skilled Nursing is looking for an experienced and motivated Clinical Nurse Supervisor to join the Clinical Operations team in Brisbane, on a 9-month fixed term contract. In this leadership role, you’ll be at the heart of early-phase clinical trials, ensuring excellence in clinical practice, participant safety, and team development.
The Position
As a Clinical Nurse Supervisor, you'll be responsible for the oversight and daily operations of the clinical unit.
Responsibilities
- Supervise clinical staff and ensure adherence to protocols, ICH-GCP, and SOPs.
- Lead training, mentorship, and performance development of nursing staff.
- Oversee clinical procedures, participant care, and emergency management.
- Coordinate clinical unit resourcing, bed planning, equipment maintenance, and supply logistics.
- Serve as a communication bridge across multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless study execution.
- Foster a culture of safety, learning, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- At least 5 years post-graduate nursing experience.
- Knowledge of ICH-GCP and early-phase clinical trials.
- Venepuncture and cannulation skills.
- Training in emergency response and cardiac resuscitation.
Essential Criteria
- Registration as a Division 1 Registered Nurse (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated experience supervising clinical teams.
- Solid attention to detail and time management skills.
- Proficiency in clinical procedures and documentation in line with study protocols.
- A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively across functions.
