The Role

Crown is the ultimate destination for memorable dining experiences, with offerings ranging from casual restaurants to premium venues. Atrium is now seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Junior Sous Chef to join our culinary leadership team.

In this role, you will deliver joyful guest experiences while taking ownership of key operational areas. You will play a pivotal part in maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency through:

* Assist in stock take processes, ensuring accurate inventory management
* Assist in supporting and overseeing team scheduling, ensuring effective labour coverage across service periods
* Demonstrating strong Bulk Cooking experience with speciality in Asian Cuisine, particularly in high‑volume, fast‑paced environments


About You

You will bring:

* Strong organisational skills with experience in stock control, ordering and labour planning
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to excellence
* Flexibility to work a 24/7 rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
* Strong communication skills and the ability to lead and support a diverse team
* Specialty in Asian Cuisine (highly regarded)
* Sound business acumen to assist in managing food and labour costs


Responsibilities

* Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional quality, presentation and timing aligned with Crown Resorts standards
* Lead stock take, monitor inventory levels and complete accurate documentation
* Coordinate rostering and labour forecasting to optimise productivity and meet financial targets
* Support menu development and maintain consistency across all dishes
* Ensure full compliance with food safety, HACCP and OH S standards


Qualifications

Certificate III & IV in Commercial Cookery
