Payroll Officer role at Sharp & Carter.
Our client is a staffing/recruitment business that specializes in placing qualified professionals in construction and traffic management roles across Melbourne. They have been in operation for 30 years and are a family-first business with a strong focus on ensuring their employees are well looked after.
Responsibilities
* Weekly processing for 300-400 employees
* Processing new starters, terminations, Masterfile changes, overtime, leave processing and report checking
* Interpreting relevant awards/EBAs and applying relevant policies
* Adjustment calculations
* Assisting with Work Cover administration
* Answering payroll queries
Candidate Profile
* 2+ years of payroll experience
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* A desire and willingness to learn, with strong problem-solving skills
* Confident personality that enjoys speaking to key stakeholders
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
