About The Role
We're looking for a Medical Receptionist to join our team in Nowra. In this role, you'll play a key part in delivering person-centred, inclusive and meaningful support to the people we serve.
Position Details
This will be a fixed-term role until 30 June ****, with a possibility of extension based on ongoing government funding.
The position requires availability outside normal business hours, on weekends and public holidays to support service delivery of the Urgent Care Clinic. The clinic operates from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm, seven days a week.

Duties
Exceptional customer service to support patients and visitors
Manage front desk and provide administrative support to healthcare providers
Outstanding communication skills and strong attention to detail
Collaborative approach with a supportive, multidisciplinary team
Contribute to safe, effective and values-led service delivery
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a medical reception setting
Outstanding communication skills, including a professional and personable manner, with a people-first approach
High level of computer literacy, including experience with electronic medical practice software such as Best Practice or Medical Director
Proficiency in Medicare billings
