The Financial and Procurement Services Directorate sits within the People and Corporate Services Division is responsible for delivering the full life cycle of goods and services procurement and contract management services for the Department.
**The Opportunity**
The Manager, Goods and Services Procurement is accountable to the Director, Financial and Procurement Services, for leading the successful delivery of goods and services procurement, as well as ensuring valuing adding procurement opportunities are maximised for the whole of DIT.
This role is also responsible for collaborating with finance related functions to enhance the directorate's partnerships with departmental business units to better understand and deliver on their procurement needs in order to add value.
The role will be required to establish and develop strategic relationships within applicable markets, industry bodies and other government agencies to support departmental objectives concerning goods and services.

**Qualifications/Experience**
Tertiary Qualification in relevant discipline to facilitate commercially aware procurement services is desirable.
MCIPS accreditation or commitment to attain MCIPS is desirable.
**Special Conditions**
Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel requiring overnight stays, may be required.
**Remuneration**
MAS3 - $127,589 pa + superannuation.
