Our capabilities include site-based shutdowns, pressure welding, project management, mechanical maintenance and overhauls, and the fabrication and assembly of industrial plants and processing equipment. We also supply skilled field personnel to major mining operations across Western Australia.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Operations and Recruitment Manger to join our team and support our operations across the West Coast.
About the Role
Reporting to senior management, this role is responsible for providing end-to-end HR support across FIFO and local operations, with a strong focus on recruitment, compliance, and health and safety administration.
Key Responsibilities
* End-to-end recruitment for FIFO and site-based roles, including advertising, screening, onboarding, and mobilisation
* Management of HR systems and databases, including C-Res, Enable, Rapid Global and similar workforce management platforms
* Coordination of site compliance, medicals, inductions, tickets, and training records
* Support and administration of Health & Safety documentation and processes:
including the preparation, maintenance, and control of H&S documentation such as inductions, risk assessments, permits, incident reports, training records, and compliance registers.
* Ensure records are accurate, up to date, and readily accessible, supporting audits, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives. Assisting with employee relations, performance management, and general HR queries
* Maintaining accurate personnel records in line with company and legislative requirements
* Liaising with site contacts, clients, and internal stakeholders to support operational needs
* Regular attendance at pre-start meetings and site visits to engage with candidates and clients, while meeting established KPIs.
About You
* Proven experience in an Recruitment and day to day operations or similar role, ideally within mining, construction, or industrial services
* Strong background in FIFO recruitment and workforce mobilisation
* Working knowledge of Health & Safety systems and compliance requirements
* Demonstrated understanding of workplace Health & Safety management systems, including relevant legislation, site-specific safety standards, and compliance obligations.
* Able to interpret, apply, and monitor H&S requirements to ensure alignment with company policies, client expectations, and regulatory frameworks.
* Experience using C-Res or comparable HR/workforce management systems
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, operational environment
* Based in Western Australia (Port Hedland preferred)
