Senior Counsellor/Advocate Eastern Centre Against Sexual Assault (ECASA)
Opportunity for a Social Worker or Psychologist to join the ECASA Leadership Team.
* Permanent part‐time position (60.8 hours per fortnight) – Grade 3
* Salary up to $99,125.00, dependent on experience and classification, with salary packaging options
* Professional development programme – lead the cultural and strategic direction of ECASA
* Direct clinical supervision and operational leadership of counsellors, ensuring evidence‐based practice and high‐quality care; provision of some direct client care and leading ongoing quality improvement activities
About the role
ECASA welcomes applications from an experienced Social Worker or Psychologist to contribute to the agency's cultural and strategic direction, with a strong commitment to trauma‐informed collaborative practice and leadership. The role includes clinical supervision of counsellors, operational leadership, and occasional direct client care.
About you
* Relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work and Psychology
* Comprehensive understanding of factors contributing to sexual assault, and relevant legislation
* Clinical and therapeutic experience within a sexual assault or family violence setting (favourable)
* Capacity to contribute to group work design and community engagement
* Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience
* Strong commitment to high‐quality care
* Ability to work as part of a diverse team
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
