You will use a mix of consultative skills, business knowledge, and technical expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into our clients’ business environment and achieve business results.Your role and responsibilitiesLeading and managing the SAP Basis team in the design, delivery, and operation of SAP systemsLeading and managing the SAP Basis team in the design, delivery, and operation of SAP Project systems during IBM Rapid Discovery, Hybrid / Brownfield or Greenfield migration projectsPlanning, coordinating, and overseeing SAP system installations, upgrades, and migrationsEstablishing and maintaining system configurations, system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshootingEnsuring the integrity of the SAP environment by managing the SAP correction and transport systemEnsuring regular backups and disaster recovery plans are operational and effectiveWorking closely with functional team members and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutionsManaging and resolving issues in the SAP landscape, including root cause analysisDeveloping and maintaining documentation for SAP system configurations and proceduresLeading on Technology projects – installation, configuration, upgrade, migration, conversion, greenfield implementation, integration with other systemsProvide architectural guidance on cloud migration (AWS, GCP, Azure, IBM)Leading end-to-end security design for SAP on premise and SAP Cloud based applications including two factor authentications and single sign-on from anywhere on any deviceTroubleshoot/analyze and resolve technical problemsManage multiple tasks, work in a team environment, understand and be responsive to project and customer needs.Adapt and function effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment while working under deadlines.Build credible relationships with peers and clients, and continuously learn about SAP productsRequired educationBachelor's DegreeRequired technical and professional expertise5+ years of experience with SAP S/4HANA and HANA solutions, migrations, and conversions.Min 4 project experience with Selective Data Transition with SNP tools5+ years working with SAP customers to define migration/conversion project requirements, approaches, and / or roadmapsHands on implementation and conversion experience for S/4HANA solutions.SAP Basis – Current hands-on experience on Technical Planning, Installations, Upgrades, OS/DB Migrations, Unicode Conversions for SAP NetWeaver platform, and SAP HANA.Deep knowledge of SAP HANA in-Memory Platform core technology, including architecture, landscape design, installation, upgrades, performance tuning, and system integration.Excellent problem-solving skills.Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.Demonstrated ability to manage projects effectively under pressure and within tight deadlines.Experience working in a fast-paced and agile environment.Preferred technical and professional experiencePreferred Experience:ABOUT BUSINESS UNITIBM Consulting is IBM’s consulting and global professional services business, with market leading capabilities in business and technology transformation.
