Berlasco is seeking an experienced and motivated Scheduler to manage workforce rosters for our 24/7 residential aged care facility. This is a standalone role suited to someone who is proactive, solutions‐focused, and comfortable working in a fast‐paced environment.

Berlasco is a multicultural, not‐for‐profit aged care facility located in Indooroopilly, close to public transport and local amenities.

About the Role

You will be responsible for managing and maintaining rosters for approximately 200 employees, ensuring adequate coverage across all shifts while meeting operational, compliance, and service delivery requirements.

This role plays a critical part in supporting continuity of care and requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication.

Key responsibilities including but not limited to:

* Accurately maintain and manage the rostering system
* Plan and coordinate 24/7 staff rosters
* Manage daily roster changes, including unplanned leave and shift coverage
* Allocate appropriately skilled staff to ensure safe and efficient service delivery
* Ensure rostering complies with relevant Awards, EBAs, legislation, and organisational policies
* Communicate roster changes and staffing requirements with managers and employees
* Respond to employee requests, incidents, and rostering queries in a timely manner
* Work independently while managing competing priorities and deadlines

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

* Previous experience in administration and rostering, ideally in a high‐volume or 24/7 environment
* Experience in the aged care or not‐for‐profit sector (highly regarded)
* Strong attention to detail and problem‐solving skillsExcellent organisational and time management abilities
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to learn multiple systems
