Set within 100 acres of subtropical rainforest and landscaped gardens, Henry Kendall Gardens offers picturesque surroundings, quality facilities and a vibrant and supportive village environment, based in Wyoming, on the beautiful Central Coast.
We are currently seeking a Bus Driver to join the team on a Part-time basis.
Shifts: Thursday & Friday 7.30am to 4.30pm
Your role will involve providing transportation for our residents to local destinations including fieldtrips and regular hop on/off services. As well as:
* Providing safe transportation of our residents, aiding with entry and exit to the bus where needed
* Perform other ad-hoc duties as required i.e. taking the vehicle for servicing and maintenance checks
* Providing exceptional customer service to our residents at all times
* Uphold Keyton's commitment to safety and excellence in service
* Aiding with miscellaneous maintenance tasks around the village, as required
About You
To be successful in your application, you will have the following;
* Previous Bus Driver experience
* A Current MR Drivers Licence (Required)
* A Current Bus Driver Authority (BDA) Certificate (Required)
* A genuine interest in working with seniors, and understanding the awareness of mobility/health and safety issues that may occur
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* The ability to make decisions and remain calm under pressure
* A current First Aid & CPR Certificate (or be willing to obtain)
* A professional, initiative-taking and can-do attitude
