Mightylagg Group is a specialist contractor delivering scaffolding, insulation, asbestos removal and sheet metal services across major power generation and industrial sites throughout NSW.
Due to continued project growth, we are seeking experienced First Class Sheet Metal Workers to join our team.
This is an opportunity to work on major industrial shutdowns and maintenance projects with a professional team that values safety, reliability and quality workmanship.
About the Role
As a First Class Sheet Metal Worker, you will be responsible for the fabrication, installation and maintenance of sheet metal cladding and insulation systems across industrial and power station environments.
You will work closely with laggers, scaffolders and supervisors to ensure work is completed safely and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Fabricate, install and modify sheet metal cladding systems
* Measure, cut and shape materials accurately
* Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Install flashings, cladding and associated components
* Work safely in accordance with WHS and site requirements
* Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality
* Work collaboratively with other trades onsite
Essential Requirements
• Trade qualification in Sheet Metal Work or equivalent experience • Construction White Card
* Experience working on industrial or commercial sites
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Strong knowledge of safe work practices
* Reliable and safety focused
Highly Regarded
* Power station or heavy industry experience
* Working at Heights
* Confined Space
* Experience with insulation cladding systems
