Aim for excellence Take on a rewarding temporary full‐time opportunity at Bowral Hospital as an Operational Nurse Manager, where you'll lead a committed team of clinicians dedicated to delivering exceptional, patient‐centred care. In this dynamic and fast‐paced role, you will drive effective patient flow, support whole‐of‐health initiatives, and ensure safe, compassionate and efficient service delivery. Your leadership will inspire others, strengthen clinical practice, and foster a culture of accountability, professional growth and continuous improvement across the nursing team.

As a role model and mentor, you will use your strong communication and interpersonal skills to support, coach and develop staff while upholding the highest standards of nursing practice, legislation and professional codes. Selection Criteria

To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.

* Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Relevant post graduate qualifications or equivalent work experience or a combination of study and experience deemed appropriate by SWSLHD.
* Demonstrated senior nursing experience with experience in leading staff and managing services in a relevant setting.
* Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and engage with patients/consumers, carers and the multidisciplinary health care team and to represent the nursing service inside and outside the organisation.
* Demonstrated capacity to interact with others in a personable and professional manner and manage conflicts and performance issues when they arise
* Demonstrated evidence of the use of critical thinking to set goals, formulate plans and policies to achieve identified outcomes
* Demonstrated understanding and participation in the implementation of organisational change, risk management, work health and safety and quality improvement in the workplace.
