We are seeking a talented and experienced Spray Painter to join our expanding team in Brooklyn. This role pays a competitive rate of $45 - $50 per hour, with opportunities for overtime.
The Role: What you'll be doing
* Preparing surfaces for painting through sanding, masking, and priming.
* Mixing and applying paint, lacquer, and other finishes using various spray painting equipment.
* Ensuring a consistent and high-quality finish on all products.
* Maintaining a clean and organized work area while adhering to all health and safety protocols.
* Working effectively with the team to meet deadlines and provide exceptional customer service.
About You: What we're looking for
We're looking for someone with a proactive, can-do attitude who is committed to a safety-first mindset. The ideal candidate will have:
* Relevant trade qualifications or equivalent experience in spray painting.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Experience in industrial two-pack spray painting is preferred, particularly on trucks, trailer bodies, or agricultural equipment.
* Knowledge of automotive paint products and finishes.
* Fiberglass experience & automotive fit out experience preferred.
* The ability to work efficiently and independently to meet production deadlines.
