Your responsibilities will include:

* Carrying out routine equipment checks and basic maintenance
* Assisting with risk assessments and ensuring compliance with safety standards

* Highly organised and methodical, with strong attention to detail
* Confident in following health and safety procedures and maintaining a safe laboratory environment
* A proactive and reliable team player with strong communication skills
* Passionate about supporting science education and student success

Previous experience within an educational setting is desirable but not essential.

In Return, You'll Receive

* A permanent opportunity within a supportive and forward‐thinking further education provider
* Long‐term temp‐to‐perm options for suitable candidates
* Competitive weekly pay
* Access to ongoing CPD and training opportunities
* The chance to work in a well‐equipped science department
* The opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to students' academic and practical learning

If you are practical, safety‐conscious, and enthusiastic about supporting science education, we would love to hear from you.

Apply today to secure your Science Technician role in Northampton - available for an immediate start or from September 2026.
