We're currently seeking a warm and reliable volunteer to joinour Emergency Relief team.When We Need You We are looking for someone who can volunteer on:Tuesdays: 11:00am – 2:00pmThursdays: 9:00am – 1:00pmWhat You'll Do As an Emergency Relief Volunteer, you will help create awelcoming and supportive environment by:Assisting people seeking food and material aidSorting, packing and preparing stock for distributionChecking expiry dates and rotating itemsGreeting donors and delivery partnersHelping maintain tidy, safe storage and service areasReporting stock needs and communicating with the ProgramSupport TeamEvery shift you work directly supports local individuals and families in need.What You BringAbility to stay focused in small, busy spacesAbility to follow instructions and work independentlyRequirementsCurrent SA Driver's LicenceWorking With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)NDIS Volunteer Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)Eligibility to volunteer in AustraliaAll volunteers follow UnitingSA's Policies and Procedures, including media/public comment guidelines.
