Total Remuneration Package: Up to $151,704.00. Base salary ranges from $87,550.00 to $133,846.00, plus leave loading and employer's contribution to superannuation. Base salary rates above the minimum are available depending on experience.

Position Information
Rouse Hill High School is a comprehensive High School with 1310 students and a teaching staff of 89. In addition to our mainstream, the school has one autism class. Stage six students study the Higher School Certificate using the compressed curriculum model. The school has a focus on collaborative practice to improve teaching practice and student outcomes. The school is supported by small but active P&C.;
Specific Selection Criteria
- Approval to teach English as an Additional Language/Dialect and Willingness to teach English (7-10)
- Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver high quality lessons for a diverse range of learners
- Capacity to work effectively as part of a collaborative English faculty
- Ability to assess and evaluate student learning to adjust teaching practice
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
Applicants seeking either permanent full time or permanent part time employment are encouraged to apply for this position. If the recommended applicant is seeking permanent part time employment (FTE from 0.1 to 0.9 inclusive), they will be offered an appointment at their desired FTE. Applicants on the eligibility list will be offered the remaining FTE but are not obliged to accept. Further information can be found on the merit selection webpage.
Successful applicants may be entitled to a Recruitment Bonus of $20,000 (Conditions Apply). The Recruitment Bonus will be paid on a pro rata basis for permanent part time teachers and executive staff. The maximum recruitment bonus available for a position is $20,000, including any job share arrangements.
A Relocation Support Payment of $5,000 up to $8,000 will be available for eligible applicants.
